Welcome and congratulations, you've made the first step to returning to your optimum health!
Osteopathy is a gentle and effective hands-on approach to health. Based on the principles of inter-connectedness and synchronicity of structure and function, osteopathy recognises the holistic nature of our body and mind in the given social context of a person's life. Osteopaths train for 5 years, the same period of time as medical doctors, and are accredited by professional associations as well as the Australian Government regulating authority AHPRA.
Johannes is a passionate practitioner of osteopathic medicine. With a background in paramedics, remedial massage and complementary medicine, his interest in osteopathy was sparked during the recovery from a near-fatal motorbike crash in 2004. Johannes frequently helps people overcome day-to-day injuries ranging from arthritic joint pain over back and neck pains to ankle sprains and has a special interest in helping people recover from chronic pain conditions through hands-on therapy and life-style intervention.
